Screen sharing & presentations

Share your screen without sharing your WhatsApp

Share your screen on Zoom, Meet or Teams without exposing WhatsApp chats. WBlur blurs messages, previews and photos until you hover over them.

Get WBlur

One wrong window in a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call and your WhatsApp chats are on everyone's screen, and in the recording.

With WBlur running, WhatsApp stays blurred even when it ends up in a screen share. As long as your mouse isn't over a message, nobody can read it.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Will WhatsApp be blurred in the recording too?

Yes. The blur is drawn on your screen, so screen shares and recordings capture the blurred version.

Is WBlur free?

The browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave and Opera is free. The Mac app is free for 3 days, then a one-time $19 license key for up to 3 Macs, with a 14-day refund if it's not for you.

Does WBlur read or collect my messages?

No. WBlur only changes how WhatsApp looks on your screen. It does not read, store or send your messages, contacts or any information about you.

Can the other person tell that I use WBlur?

No. WBlur only blurs what is shown on your own screen. Nothing changes in WhatsApp itself, and read receipts work exactly as before.
